Hong Kong's all-you-can-eat hotel buffets: the 2026 guide
The big hotel dining rooms fight over seafood on ice, live cooking stations and monthly themes. Here are the buffets worth booking, on both sides of the harbour.
Hong Kong does hotel buffets the way it does everything food related: competitively. The big hotel dining rooms fight over seafood on ice, live cooking stations and monthly themes, and the practical result is that a buffet here is rarely just a buffet. It is a crab season event, a wagyu month or a durian festival with a harbour view attached.
This guide covers the buffets worth booking, on both sides of the harbour. Every one marked with a booking button is sold on Klook or Trip.com, where you can see the live price for your date and session before you commit. Prices move by day of the week and by promotion, so treat any figure here as a starting point and check the listing.
Before you book
Lunch is the value play. At most of these hotels the lunch buffet runs at roughly half to two thirds of the dinner price, with shorter queues at the live stations. Dinner adds the premium items: lobster, wagyu, the carving specials.
Themes rotate. November is crab season, and most of the hotels below are running a crab or seafood theme until the end of the month. Festive menus take over from early December and cost more.
Book the date, not the idea. Klook listings sell a specific date and session. Popular weekend sittings at The Place, The Promenade and The Market sell out days ahead.
