About this event
Hong Kong Memory, the Leisure and Cultural Services Department backed heritage project, states the Tin Hau Festival falls on the 23rd day of the 3rd lunar month, when many Tin Hau temples organise worship, bamboo shed theatre and carnival parades, and the largest activity is at Shap Pat Heung in Yuen Long with a parade and floral tribute lottery. The lunar date converts to 29 April 2027. No organiser, HKTB or LCSD page opened in this pass confirms a 2027 programme, so the date is expected, not confirmed.
