The date shown rests on a solid annual pattern and is unconfirmed. The parade is held on the evening of the first day of Lunar New Year, which gov.hk lists as Saturday 6 February 2027, and the Hong Kong Tourism Board sponsorship document lists the International Chinese New Year Night Parade in January or February 2027 without a day date. In 2026 the parade left the Hong Kong Cultural Centre Piazza at 8pm and travelled along Canton Road, Haiphong Road and Nathan Road, with grandstand tickets priced from HK$450 to HK$600 and free viewing along the route. HKTB had not published the 2027 day date in the sources opened for this pass.
